Farm Tour

Our tour was designed for an adult clientele wishing to learn more about this animal species. It lasts approximately 1h15, depending on the attendees' interest and questions. The tour is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

We offer a guided tour of our breeding facilities. With the help of the interpretation boards, you will learn about:
  • the origin of our breeding project;
  • the origin of alpacas;
  • the different species of alpacas (we will show you a skin of each of them);
  • the physiognomy of the alpacas, starting with the important limbs, following with the smaller ones (you will see, among other things, their teeth on a skull, real claws and the tool used to cut them);
  • the characteristics of this luxurious fiber - we will touch wool and alpaca fiber to compare them;
  • genetic goals to be achieved in the alpaca breeding industry;
  • visiting breeding facilities and the maternity ward during births;
  • the softness and the thermal qualities of the clothes and accessories offered in the boutique next to our breeding facilities.
Please note: tours can be offered in French or English.

Price

Access to the estate and guided tours are offered free of charge to visitors.

*However, it is important to note that this is a private domain. Alpacas need tranquility and are fearful, so several instructions must be followed: no dogs are allowed (yes, even the smallest ones), you must avoid running and shouting at all times, do not leave any waste on site, do not enter the enclosures and please respect the non-smoking policy. It is preferable that visitors possess the maturity level to respect these instructions (only you, parents, know your children), in order to ensure the sustainability and comprehension of the visits, but also the well-being of our alpacas.
