DNA's Dame Auréo has produced some of our best crias. This breeder is exceptional!
In competition, the judges never gave her more than a 4th position… Why? Simply because of the white on her face. Her and her mother had the same comments; they have the best fleece in their class, but because of the white on their face, they cannot rank them higher. The objective in reproduction with Audiny and Auréo: to eliminate white spots while retaining the qualities of their fleeces. This is exactly what happened when these females were bred with Averegan's Magnus!
Auréo and Magnus produced three incredible crias for us. The first is DNA's Noble Apéro Rosé, a beige male with no conformational faults, 16.3 micron fleece, highly defined fiber character and excellent density. It was not presented in competition because of the pandemic. In 2020, they produced DNA's Miss Andean Shadow, a black female unbeatable in her category. Shadow is an elite black. In 2021, another female was born from that combination, DNA's Miss Andean Sunrise. Sunrise has a similar fleece to Apéro and has won several ribbons including 2x Championships and 1 Best Brightness title, as well as being strongly considered for Judge's Choice at Navan Fair 2022.
Auréo has one of the most uniform fleeces we have produced to date. It has a very low SD for its color (SD 3.1). Her crias too, have very low SD, Shadow 3.6 and Sunrise 3.2.
Auréo is a daughter of ARA Chananza.
DNA's Dame Auréo has been sold to Passion Alpagas!
