DNA's Noble Altitude

Knowing what our older female, DNA's Senorita Ariva, tends to produce due to her breeding history, we chose to cross her with a young, unproven male, Val d'Isère Alpine Spirit, to evaluate the traits he transmits to his crias. The result obtained is Noble Altitude of DNA.

The genetics behind this young male are very interesting. His grandfathers, both on his mother's and father's side, produced a large number of distinguished Champions in the greatest competitions in the United States, including the Futurity and the Nationals. He is the grandson of Red Granites Val D'Isère via his father and of MMR Marcoyo on his mother's side.

Phenotypically, Altitude is the most similar thing we have produced to MMR Marcoyo, our very first breeder. Although we unfortunately failed to produce a direct replacement for Marcoyo, Altitude could probably fill that position…

Altitude's fleece has great luster and excellent density. The character of his fiber has a high amplitude and is uniform throughout his fleece. He also inherited his mother's fineness.
