Description
Alpaca socks are an ideal solution to keep your feet warm in winter. Alpaca fiber is known for its exceptional ability to retain body heat, surpassing all its competitors. The fiber is hollow at its core, which helps trap the air produced by your body, acting like the insulation of a wall.
Our alpaca thermal socks are designed with the Construction Terry manufacturing method. This inner looping technique helps wick away moisture, keeping you dry and comfortable. Humidity is often the source of discomfort, but thanks to the alpaca fiber you will stay comfortably dry even in humid conditions. These socks are ideal for outdoor activities, such as snowmobiling, snowshoeing, hiking, ice fishing and board sports. They're even great for shoveling snow in the winter.
Our alpaca socks are made in Quebec and are of superior quality. We use a greater amount of alpaca fiber than any other alpaca sock currently on the market, making our socks warmer and more comfortable. They do not deform thanks to the use of nylon and elastane in its manufacture. Additionally, we reinforced the toes and heels area for added durability.
Care Instructions
Care of hand washed alpaca knits:
- Wash gently in cold water with mild soap (do not exceed 85º F / 29º C).
- Never use bleach.
- Squeeze the garment to remove excess water (do not wring).
- Handle gently to avoid creases and distortion.
- Dry flat, horizontally.
- If necessary, reshape during the drying period.
- If necessary, touch up with the iron at the lowest temperature.
Care of machine washed alpaca knits:
- Wash in cold water on gentle cycle, with mild soap (do not exceed 85º F / 29º C).
- Never use bleach.
- Dry flat horizontally.
- If necessary, touch up with the iron at the lowest temperature.
Care of alpaca fur products:
- Alpaca fur cannot be machine washed. It must be cleaned by a professional fur cleaner.
- To clean stains, use a damp sponge and mild soap. Make sure to not wet the leather of your fur. Using too much water could reach the skin and damage it.
Shipping
